O. V. Vijayan

O. V. Vijayan (1930–2005) was a novelist, short-story writer and political cartoonist. His first novel, Khasakkinte Itihasam (1969), is regarded as a landmark that changed the course of Malayalam fiction. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2003.
